Spanish or South American?

It is like the differences between British English and America English, the pronunciation can vary but they are able to understand each other.

I bet most of you whom are thinking about start to learn Spanish have that question pop in to your mind…to be honest either is good! There is not a unique Spanish, as within Spain and South America you will find differences as well as in each part you find accents. Your choice does not matter, the basics, the structure is the same, the difference is more regarding pronunciation, of course south Americans and Spanish have own words and idioms that the others will get confused, but it will happen the same if you student Mexican Spanish and then you travel to Colombia, both within Latin America and you still will find words, sentences that will make you think…wait a moment..I don’t know that! My teacher was not good enough to teach me that! Not at all as I said previously there are so many different accents it would be impossible to teach/learn every single variation of the language.

It is like the differences between British English and America English, the pronunciation can vary but they are able to understand each other.

So if you are worried if you are going to travel to South America and your teacher is Spanish or all the way around, don’t worry you will be able to communicate yourself and everyone will understand you, speaker from all over the speaking world are able to communicate with each other.

The video below shows you the different accents, probably you are not able to understand any…that why you should come along to the courses 🙂
